When I think of San Francisco I think … Magic. One day I would like to live there. For the time being I m happy to visit! At least once a year I spend a month in San Francisco. Armed with my camera I roam the streets, enjoy my surroundings and … Snap away! I like to take a street car, then a city bus to reach the ocean and enjoy the colors of the water. I like to go to High Street, where you can remember the hippie culture and still feel the presence of Jimmy Hendrix and Jane Joplin…
I like to visit the controversial but beautifully created Vaillancourt fountain .
I like to walk up and down market street. Take the “F” to reach Noe Valley or the Castro district. I like to go to China town and breath in the bright colors.
I like to take the ferry to visit Alcatraz or Sausalito.
I even like to take the Bart.
I wanted to share my love for this amazing city. What a better way than through my pictures. The idea of a 3D picture book started taking place in my mind. Eventually details got clearer, the idea materialized and in 2010 (time…?) the book was published. All the pictures are in 3D and the pictures can be seen with red and blue 3D glasses.
Although Bix is not here to see it, I know he would approve!
